BMW Motorrad
In 1968, Sime Motors marked its first representation of the BMW brand with the acquisition of BMW Concessionaires (HK) Ltd, becoming the sole importer and distributor of BMW cars and motorcycles in Hong Kong and Macau.
The partnership with the BMW brand expanded across Singapore, Malaysia, China, New Zealand and Thailand. In 2003, Sime Motors entered into a joint venture with BMW Group to establish BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd, becoming the official distributor of BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad vehicles in Malaysia. In 2013, the Group further strengthened its BMW presence in Australia through its representation of Brisbane BMW.
